Journey

Before working as a counsellor, Thea worked in the care sector. She wanted to become a counsellor because she wanted to help people who were facing difficult challenges from issues in their personal lives to obstacles linked with disabilities.

Having not always found life easy herself, she brings her skills and own experience of challenges. She knows life is not a walk in park which encourages her empathy and allows her to help further. Thea offers counselling to a wide-range of clients from adults to adolescents.

Thea presents an understanding, knowing approach to counselling. She provides a warm safe environment and a place where each person can look at their issues in a different way.

Safe Space

Counselling sessions will take place in a calm, purposeful environment. The space will be quiet allowing you time to unravel from the outside and engage in the sessions.

Thea is based in Clawthorpe close to Burton in Kendal - Cumbria, just 3 miles from Junction 36 on the M6. Thea can also offer over-the-phone or zoom sessions if you would prefer.

Thea can also offer ‘Walk and Talk’ therapy sessions for clients who are better suited to being outdoors where they would find it easier to explore and communicate.
